Japan – Baltic Sea Region Coproduction Forum

Twenty promising filmmakers from Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland and Japan, and a number of experts in the film industry will be invited to participate in a 3-day Japan – Baltic Sea Region Coproduction Forum, organized in cooperation with European Film Forum. Scanorama
The aim of the forum is to give the promising filmmakers the opportunity to learn more about coproduction, filmmaking in the Baltic Sea region and Japan – and to share experiences and best practices.
The forum program consists of seminars, lectures, and panel discussions, given by experts in the filming industry, such as Nik Powell, who will be the host of the Forum. The participants have also a unique opportunity to introduce their project ideas and get feedback from the experts in a pitching session. All this is topped with the tens of films screened during the Scanorama film festival.
